Knowledge Net

Today we learnt how to access our own Knowledge Net pages. Most of us have put our goals on and some of us have published a story. We all went onto the World Maths Day site at Maths time. We are getting faster at answering the questions and improving our scores.

Dolphin

In the weekend I went to the two dollar shop and I got a dolphin. It is pretty because it lights up. The light changes all the time. We had subway for lunch. We went to the number one shoe warehouse.

Fishing At Cable Bay

In the weekend I went to Cable Bay with Mum and Dad and Keely. We went fishing at the beach and we caught a snapper and it was little and it was too little. We threw it back and we caught another snapper and it was too little too.

World Maths Day

Today we all got our usernames and passwords for World Maths Day. We all got to register and make our avatars. Most of us got to play a couple of games.
We are going to practise at home and school and become really fast at answering the questions.

Broken Arm

Last night I broke my arm. I tripped over in the evening. I had to go to the hospital. I had to get a cast on my arm. I had an x-ray. I had a crack. I have a sling.

Birthday

In the weekend my friends came to my house. It was fun because I have a sandpit and we made a sand cake. We had lots of fun I went to Rabbit Island for Lockie's Birthday. He was one. I went for a swim there. It was really hot.

Day 2

We have been busy today making a birthday graph so we know when everybody's birthdays are. Some clever people can already say the months of the year in order. We have finished off our holiday stories. Most of us have been to the library to get our new books and pencils. We are taking them home tonight to get them named and some people are going to get their books covered. We are going to start writing in our books next week. We will be able to write about all the fantastic things we have done over the long weekend. This afternoon we will be going swimming. We have all got our togs!

First Day Back

We have had a busy day in Room 4. We went to a special assembly to welcome Mr Baldwin and Miss Read. We have been to the library to get books for the class and for ourselves. We have written about our holiday and we have got reading books to take home. We didn't go swimming because not everyone had their togs and it was raining. Sometimes we do swim in the rain if it is very warm. We had a story after lunch and then we drew some pictures to go with our holiday stories. We had lots of notices to take home. One more day at school then we can have a holiday again.
