At discovery time today we finished off the sunsets we started last week. Last week we brushed water all over the paper then painted yellow water paint on the wet paper followed by orange water paint and a strip of blue at the top. This week we added the hills and some boats with black vivid. Now everybody wants to do one so we will do some more next term. Sunsets on PhotoPeach

On Tuesday we wrote about all the thunder and lightening around Brightwater in the night. We have recorded them and added some sound effects.

Archie Comes To School

This morning Luca's Mum brought Archie to visit us. Archie is ten weeks old. He is a border collie cocker spaniel. Archie likes to bite peoples toes and nibble fingers. He likes getting scratched on his tummy.

Snow in Christchurch

After lunch yesterday we skyped Annabel and Amelia in Rolleston. Annabel used to go to Brightwater School. They had the day off school because of the snow. When we skyped the snow was 6cm deep. They had made 2 small snowmen but later on it started to snow again so they made two bigger snowmen.
Annabel and Amelia showed us how to do sign language.
We wish we could have a day off school to play in the snow.
