Velodrome Visit

On Wednesday Room 2 went to the Saxton Velodrome. We took our scooters. Constable Charlotte and Constable Susan were there. Constable Charlotte checked our helmets fitted us properly. There is a two finger rule.
We walked around the roads and looked at the signs. We had to scoot on the left. There were traffic lights, a roundabout, a give way sign, a stop sign, a no right turn sign and  a pedestrian crossing. We also scootered right around the footpath around the base of the velodrome track.

Cross Country

On Friday we had our school Cross Country on the back field. Year one and two children had to do two laps. There were hay bales to jump over and we had to run up and down the hill.
Jonty came first, Max came second and Mason came third in the Year 2 boys race. A great result for Room 2. Madison came first in the Year 2 girls race.  Brody came first in the Year 1 boys race.
