Birthday

In the weekend my friends came to my house. It was fun because I have a sandpit and we made a sand cake. We had lots of fun I went to Rabbit Island for Lockie's Birthday. He was one. I went for a swim there. It was really hot.

Day 2

We have been busy today making a birthday graph so we know when everybody's birthdays are. Some clever people can already say the months of the year in order. We have finished off our holiday stories. Most of us have been to the library to get our new books and pencils. We are taking them home tonight to get them named and some people are going to get their books covered. We are going to start writing in our books next week. We will be able to write about all the fantastic things we have done over the long weekend. This afternoon we will be going swimming. We have all got our togs!

First Day Back

We have had a busy day in Room 4. We went to a special assembly to welcome Mr Baldwin and Miss Read. We have been to the library to get books for the class and for ourselves. We have written about our holiday and we have got reading books to take home. We didn't go swimming because not everyone had their togs and it was raining. Sometimes we do swim in the rain if it is very warm. We had a story after lunch and then we drew some pictures to go with our holiday stories. We had lots of notices to take home. One more day at school then we can have a holiday again.

Room 4 Makeover

Room 4's makeover is just about complete. The ceiling, heaters and cupboards have been painted and the walls covered with a soft wallboard.

Room 4

In the holidays Room 4 is going to be refurbished. There will be new wallboard and new curtains. Look for pictures of it when it is finished towards the end of January.

Merry Christmas

On the final day of school we had a class party. We had the food out on the deck of the library.
We would like to wish all the readers of this blog a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday.

Quinney's Bush

On Saturday Mum, Dad, Ollie and I went to stay at Quinney's Bush in our camper van. I went on the red merry go round. I met two kids and their names were Caleb and Jack. Caleb is 10 and Jack is 6. I went in the river. It was really stony. I saw a really high dam in the river. I always sleep in the front of the camper van.

My Birthday.

On Saturday it was my birthday and I got a barbie with a little fairy from Kate. I got a swirly sun catcher, it has two butterflies with a disco ball. I got it from Tui. I got a blue top from Mrs Lines. After we opened the presents we had some cake. The cake was a chocolate and fudge with strawberries.

Hospital

On Friday Mum and I went to the hospital to get my plaster changed. The nurse put a needle into my hand. It touched my veins. They put it close to my veins because they put medicine in to my hand to put me to sleep. They put magic cream on your hand so you can't feel it. I got a steel cap over my big toe. I can slide on my butt . I can go to the toilet by myself. Now I can still play war but I am a wounded soldier.

Olly is back at school today. He does his work on a clipboard on his knee. He is very good at driving his wheelchair.
