Bird Feeders

A long time ago we made these bird balls. We found the recipe in our reading book.Georgia's Mum Tiffany came to help us make them. We put them in the freezer to set and we forgot about them. This morning Peter helped us hang them up.We put one by the hall, one by the shade house, two in the garden by the dental clinic and one by the sports shed. We are going to watch to see how long it takes the birds to discover them and how long for them all to be eaten.
Serina broke up some weetbix to put in her bird feeder. We hung it by the shadehouse.

Discovery Time

Jannine came to school this morning with our pictures sketched onto material. Some of us got to paint our pictures with fabric paint. We think they look great.

Fishing with Dad

On Sunday, Dad my brother and I went fishing. I caught a grey boy. When they cut a hole in the fish it bled all over the floor of the boat. We went to Toadshall for an ice cream on the way home from fishing. When we got home my Dad cleaned the boat.

Museum

In the weekend Mum, Luke, Cade and I went to the museum. I got a shark tooth. Luke and Cade got the same fossil. After that Mum, Luke, Cade and I went to Dad's rugby. Dad s team won.

Giant Effort Award

Charlie got the class award at assembly today for getting 99% in basic facts.
She also got the Giant Effort Award.
Well done Charlie.

Dinosaur Website

Tooth

On Sunday in the middle of the night my tooth came out. Today I brought my tooth to school. My Mum said that I can't lose my tooth. If I don't lose my tooth Mum will be happy. If I lose my tooth Mum will be angry. When I get home I will put my tooth beside my bed in a glass of water.

Disney On Ice

On Friday I went to Christchurch with my Mum and Dad and Riley. I went to our motel and then it was Disney on Ice time. I got a cup. When Tinkerbell came out she waved her wand around. It had fairy dust then Sleeping Beauty came out. The evil witch came out. She had a wand. The prince came with a sharp sword the fairy godmother said "Go to kiss the girl." The prince kissed Sleeping Beauty. They skated along then came out and did a flip. The Fairy godmother said "Now you are happy you can go and live whereever you want. It was a fantastic show.

Apple Muffins

This morning Josh's Mum, Cushla came to help a group make apple muffins at Discovery Time.
We ate them when we came back from the library. They were delicious. Thank you Cushla.
