Fraction Fun

For Maths this week we are learning about fractions. This morning we had to cut our play lunch food in half in our Inquiry groups.

Mt Arthur

On Sunday Mum, Dad, Amelia and Sherryn and I went to Mt Arthur. Dad got stuck in the snow. I panicked. I went on my sled. Sherryn had a shovel and ran it along the snow then she threw it up. She said "It's snowing." We thought it was cool. Mum had a race with Dad. Dad won.

The next day Chelsea came for a sleep over. She had to sleep on the stretcher We read books in bed. In the morning we were still reading. For breakfast we had pancakes. I had 5. Then we went to the Library to get books.

Staying at Gran's

In the weekend Mum and Dad and Shanee and I went to Takaka to Phil's to cut the fish. I got 2398 can tabs Mum and Dad and Shanee and I counted them. Then Dad and Mum went home to watch TV because Dad taped a dvd in the lounge but dad had to get the aerial out of the room so Dad could watch tv.
Shanee and I stayed at Granny's and made soup. Then we played old maid and down the drain and then we went to bed while Granny did her excercises in the lounge then she went to bed. I forgot to take my bag of clothes so Dad dropped them off at a hut when he was over at Takaka getting a load of logs. Phil picked it up in Takaka .

I Got A Shirt

On Saturday Mum got me a shirt and it says my puppy is cuter than yours and it has a puppy on it and it has diamonds on it. I like and Mum likes it too.

At Discovery time today we made some spaghetti faces out of all kinds of food. We made them out of bread. We had Donna to help make them. We had a large glass to make a circle out of the slice of bread. We spread spaghetti over the base and then put all the facial features on. We grilled them, then ate them. They were yummy.

Sleep Over at Harriets

On Saturday I went to Harriet's place. She picked me up. When we got there we played buzz. For tea we had little sausages and peas and carrots with a big bun too. After tea we got some lolly snacks. Harriet didn't want to have any lollies. We played buzz Alison played buzz too. Before tea Harriet and I played barbies.

Amelia and I

On Monday Amelia and I had an exam. My name was blue and Amelia was called pink. We got our name as a ribbon on our leotard. We had a pink skirt and a blue leotard. We had to do an hour
of ballet. After that we had McDonalds for lunch. I had a cheese burger, some chips and a drink of juice. Then we went home.I got a real crystal, it is white.

Gary the Goat

I am looking after a goat for eight weeks because Mark has gone overseas for a holiday. Gary the goat can get through the fence.
You have to be careful because there is goat poo everywhere. If you have bare feet you have to go and put your shoes on.
We give him water in a bucket. We have to check on him because he tips the bucket of water over.

Reggie's Party

In the weekend Caleb and Olly and Cassidy came to my party at Chipmunks. Caleb was the first one there. I went on the slide first. I jumped over the balls but I didn't make it. I landed into the balls. Caleb and I played a game. I played the play station for a wee minute. We went down the really straight slide. Olly went down the slide first. I went down the slide second. Caleb went down the slide third. Cassidy went down the slide last. My brother picked Olly up and ran upstairs. My brother jumped on the slide. Cassidy jumped on the slide. I got really sweaty. Olly and Cassidy and Caleb and I played tag with the balls. Olly was in, then he tagged Cassidy. Then he tagged me. I had a yummy cake. It had cream on it. We had nachos for lunch. I had a little hotdog and some chips. I had a big piece of cake. Caleb had a little piece of cake. I had fizzy drink. Caleb had water. We had lollies. We had a sausage. We had a sponge cake. We had nuggets.
It was a great 7th birthday.

Saturday Rugby

On Saturday Mrs Lines came to watch Wanderers Under 7's play Rangers at Brightwater. Wanderers won by 21 -13 tries. All the room 4 boys scored tries and had a great game. Mrs Lines gave the player of the day to Reggie and the Moro Bar to Taylor.
