Turtle Visit
This morning Ashlee's mother brought Mummy Turtle for a visit to Room 2. Ashlee has three turtles. Two live in a pond and one lives in an old bathtub in the garden. We all got to touch it if we wanted to. It walked around on the carpet. They think Mummy Turtle is about 25 years old.

Friday Free Swim
On Fridays we get to have a free swim before we go to assembly. We don't have to stay in our groups and can go anywhere in the pool and play with all the new pool equipment. Today we swam with children from Room 1.
Discovery Time
This morning we had our first discovery time in Room 2. We were discovering where things were in our room and how we could all work together to look after the equipment and pack up. The children in Room 2 this year have come from five different rooms so it was a good time to get to know some other people better. We had a great time.
